Hello,
With prices in Belfast going mad I am contemplating investing in the north-east of England where prices are lower. I recently received some material from Paul Clifton Properties and the Y&D Group who are based in this area. Has anybody had any experience with these companies good or bad?

Possibly. But in my opinion the whole of the UK is overpriced. What investment is coming into the northeast? I think the northwest is a better long term investment.

no experience of either of those companies. the boom in the north east has probably already run its course. property, as an asset class, is still quite expensive in the UK and although price appreciation has picked up over the past 12 months the BoE will not let this get out of hand again so the UK is not the market to be in for capital growth. you really have to know the local market well to make money over here. come over and visit to get some first-hand experience. don't believe whatever these companies are telling you about yields and capital growth until you can verify any claims yourself.
