My wife has a long daily commute (160 miles round trip) - difficult and often dangerous these days.

Does anyone know of any B&Bs, reasonable hostels, (v) cheap hotels etc etc that she could avail of if necessary, at short notice during this cold spell?

Walkinstown/Bluebell/Ballyfermot area.

The cheaper the better, as long as it isn't a total dive.

Thanks

I know its not in the general location that you are looking for, but a friend of mine told me that Travel Lodge Phoneix park in Castleknock is doing a special rate through Booking.com of €39 per room. He stayed there during the bad weather a couple of times . Its right beside the train station

Thanks guys - I'm thinking that the catchment area could probably be extended to city centre too.

Considering Barnacles maybe - only €28 for private room, en suite. Not bad at all.
