Any recommendations for areas of Berlin to invest in?

I'm flying out to Berlin this week to look at property and get a feel for the city.

I have already read up, and found advice from previous threads but wondered if anyone could specifically guide me, as to which areas to look into and which ones to avoid in Berlin.

I've 120,000 maximum to invest, as a retirement income in 25 years.

Thanks

I bought an apt in Wilmersdorf, which is in the Charlottenberg area. This is quite an upperclass & well respected area in west Berlin. A lot of people would recommend Mitte & the Prenslauer Berg area as the trendy & up & coming areas.
The one place I was told to definitely avoid is Wedding.
Good luck with your search.

A bank gave me the attached listing of good and bad areas
Good : Steglitz, Wilmersdorf, Zehlendorf, Mitte, Prenzlaurberg, Friedrichshien, Pankow, Spandau
Average : Kreusberg (some areas therein) Kopenick, Templhof, Moabit, Tiergarten
Bad : Hellersdorf, Wedding (huge area!), and Neukoln

Going to Berlin tomorrow. Cant wait. Super City.
