Any Outlook experts out there?

I can't remove deleted emails from the inbox pane. When I highlight the email and press "Delete", a "Strikethrough" appears on the email i.e. a line goes through it, but it doesn't go to the Deleted folder. Looked in "Tools" but couldn't find anything. Any ideas?

Check the Edit or the Tools menu for a "Purge deleted emails" option

Under "Tools" there is a button "Empty Deleted Folder on Exit", which I ticked. However, the mails still show up on the Inbox pane, with a strikethrough. Very strange, never came across this before in Outlook.

I did that, and, yes, it worked! Thanks, everyone. Isn't AAM great?
