any opinions on the french property market for the coming year?

Does anybody have any opinion on what will happen over the next year with the french property market? there is some talk that there will be an increase due to changes in inheritance taxes. how likely is this? On the flip side, does anybody think it will fall? thanks.
 
Unemployment near 10%, Youth unemployment near 21%.....some suburbs of Paris near 40% and riots. Unions uppity with new leadership. Give it another 24 months in my opinion unless Cote D'azur devalues enough. Nice good prospect there. There is a good legimate tax dodge I know on the French property but this is only a small advantage for now.
 
pretty much all property markets around the world have had a boom for the past few years and are starting to stutter now that the credit crunch is happening. prices in france are likely to go the same direction as in ireland, us, uk etc. so wouldn't be in any rush to buy until you see how it plays out
 
so nobody thinks the changes in inheritance tax introduced by new president will have any effect?
