Any loss of interest when transferring from one bank to another?

I seem to spend a lot of time transferring money from savings accounts to regular saver accounts electronically. I was just wandering if you loose any interest during the time when it disappears from one account and then reappears in the other account?

Possibly - if the money is deducted from your source account immediately but then takes a few days to reach the destination account then you will have lost out on interest during the "missing" period. This period can be 3-5 days with some banks.
