Any Irish banks offering good US$ interest rates?

Does anyone know which banks here in Ireland are offering good interest rates for a US$ deposit?
 
Interest rates in the US are very low currently
3 month deposit @ 0.25%
6 month deposit @ 0.40%
12 month deposit @ 0.90%
Even US treasuries are low - 5 year bonds yield 2.50% and 10 years yield 3.7%

What do you mean by good ?

USD rates are very low everywhere at the moment.

Anglo Isle of Man offer one of the highest USD deposit rates. 1.50% on demand or 2.85% for a 1 year USD term deposit.

Many thanks - can an Irish resident (legally) open an account with Anglo IOM?

I note that this thread was moved from Investments. But on the AAM home page, under this forum heading it says "Ask general questions in Investments forum. The safety of deposits is now discussed in this forum."

Which would lead one to believe that if your query doesn't relate to the safety of deposits, you should post it in Investments. Just an observation.
 
Yes, Irish residents can perfectly legally open an IOM account.

This forum is used to discuss both deposits/savings and also deposit safety. Point noted that the description of the forum could be made clearer.
 
PTSB Isle of man do 2.75% fixed for one year on deposit BUT they are a nightmare to deal with in terms of red tape, certifdication of id etc etc, it is endless....
