Any experience with RAC European breakdown cover?

I wonder if any AAMers would put me off getting RAC cover (€98) over AA cover (€141) for driving in France/Spain this summer? I'm only after basic breakdown cover and, in particular, I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has had cause to ring the RAC while driving in Europe.
 
No experiences sorry, but maybe a money saving tip.

Have you checked if there's any breakdown cover included in your car insurance premium? Would save you forking out again.

And if it's not included, it may be an optional extra that would cost less than either of your quotes received above.
