Any ex pats living near toronto

Hi There,

Mr bear and I have the oppertunity of potentially moving to Toronto with his work.

In terms of rental areas, are there any towns near Toronto that you would recomend, preferably commute by train to Toronto.... We have dogs, a springer being one so, appartments out!!!

Toronto is 3 hour drive from me, and believe me, it's a HUGE city. property prices are still high. I have family there and in Barrie, Barrie is a growing city about 100km north of TO.

you can live close to the city center in homes with a back garden, 3-bed semi D. Best to talk to someone already living there, there are so many areas, and some are growing, and some are worth avoiding.

Look at areas off the Don Valley Parkway.
