Will be staying in Portumna over June bank holiday and thought we'd like to spend a day on the water on Lough Derg. Think there will be 6 of us.
Has anybody hired a boat for the day there? As we're already paying for accommodation for the weekend, I don't want to have to pay for overnights on a boat that we won't be sleeping on.
Cruise Ireland do cruisers for the day, but they're about a half hour drive to Banagher so it would mean we'd have to drive back at the end of the day, and we'd rather be local so we don't have to drive, i.e. we can all have a drop of beer or wine!
Any suggestions please?
