I have to admit I haven't seen too many Longboats or horned helmets around Firhouse over the past few years. I suspect we'd be more likely to find Six Shooters and Stetsons if we did an archeological dig.
As I get older and stiffer I'm thinking about those new bikes which are a combination of peddling like a normal bicycle with a rechargeable electric motor (I think the charge lasts for 25-30 miles). I've been trying to find the manufacturer if anyone can help?
Hi Marie, can't remember what area you live in. There's a shop in Terenure which does "green" bikes, motorbikes, mopeds etc. I'll check the name next time I pass and let you know or perhaps someone else here knows the name. It's on the road towards Rathgar, near a light shop.
