Reading another thread about gift cards and vouchers got me thinking back to the days before I was aware of AAM. Years ago, I got a voucher for driving lessons, say a voucher for 4 lessons at £15 each, i.e £60. It took me a few months to arrange lessons, but by the time I went to use the voucher, the instructor had increased her prices to £17. I was only able to get the value of what £60 would have got, i.e 3 lessons at £17 and £9 towards lesson 4.
Could she legally have done this? The voucher made no reference to a price increase, just £60 for 4 lessons.
