Does anybody know of a link to annuity rates in Ireland. Can't find one anywhere.
Have become interested in this of late when a friend of mine (female, aged 65) got 8.77% (no bells or whistles annuity, on the basis that she's single with no dependants) from Friends Provident. This seems to be the best part of 2% ahead of what FP are offering in the UK. Her pension policy was with FP also, but apparently offered no guaranteed annuity rates. Anybody have any idea of what's going on here?
