I know it changed in 2015 to increase age to 68 in line with gov policy. Is this still the case now that gov has done a u turn.
 
I assume you are referring to the State Pension? Who knows what will happen to the retirement age. It’s 66 for the moment. We might have to await the report from the Pensions Commission and then see if the Government (whoever they are) accept their recommendations. If SF are in Government we can expect a pension age of 60 (since SF seem to have a money tree planted somewhere).
 
I doubt this is true. I'm sure its 65. Theres no way An Post staff have to wait until 68 y.o to get their occupational pension
 
What were the leaving service entitlements of someone leaving the An Post scheme back in the day. I've a friend who worked there for 3 years in the 80s.......might she be entitled to a mini deferred pension?
 
In 2015 they changed it because scheme was in defect. My oh is postman. I feel it is discrimatory now that oap is 66.
