I've often wondered why they let postbank exit the market. I think we need this option now more than ever with the free current account option slowly disappearing from all the banks that operate here.
 
the problem with the post office is, pensioners and lone parents might have a spare hour to queue, i unfortunately don't !. Time is money......
 
You need to time it, you will soon learn what times/days to avoid. Same as the bank really. I've been using it with NIB for a while now, and never have to queue. About an hour before closing time, after the morning and lunch rush, but before the office workers bring parcels and registered letters.
