Man jailed for killing Sligo man in Australia

A 59-year-old man has been sentenced to 31 years in prison for the murder of his future son-in-law, Irish man Damien Conlon in New South Wales.

The father signed over the house to the daughter and it was agreed that they would build a granny flat for him.
Relations between the father and daughter soured.
She told him to vacate "her" house so that they could do work on it.
The father called the daughter's fiancée over to the house and shot him dead.

Its very sad for the families, 4 children left without one of their parents and his partner left as a widow. Felt very sorry for his parents and sister yesterday when they were on news, whole thing was so unnecessary.
