Amsterdam to Rotterdam by train

Does anyone know how much it costs to get from Amsterdam to Rotterdam by train, and also how much it costs?

Also looking for recommendations for self catering in Amsterdam and a b&b or Hotel in Rotterdam.

Trains take around 1 hour - there's loads of them ... cost is €12 o/w .. most trains stop at Schiphol Airport and The Hague en route.
