For customers of American Express, whether they hold Green, Blue, Gold or Silver cards, there is a problem in Amex. If your card/s are stopped, the reason is that Amex have had systems changed and they haven't a clue what they are doing.
In my case, I called them to state I hadn't received a bill for two months, where the lady who answered my call advised me of their problems they were having and that the cards were stopped.
So if you're planning on using your card at the weekend, you had better make alternative spending arrangements.
