Am i entitled to Ras scheme

Hi just looking for more info on this I've heard about he ras scheme. I am currently on rent allowance I have two children both babies and find it extremely hard to find a house that except rent allowance. I know some landlords are picky with who they lease there homes out to but I have never missed my rent or bills and have never had any problems . Would I be entitled to apply for the ras scheme as I will be looking to rent somewhere long term for my young kids to have a home. It's a pity that it is so hard to find anywhere that except rent allowance I have been looking the last few weeks and have not found one yet that except it . Just looking for information

The RAS scheme is managed by the local authority, they place tenants in RAS properties - are you on the housing list?

You should contact your local authority to ask about RAS and whether you're eligible or not.
