Am i entitled to maternity benefit 2 years in a row

Hi i had my daughter last july and have been off work since i took the 16 weeks unpaid, 5 weeks holidays and bank holidays. I'm due back to work next week i'm pregnant again and will only be back in work for 14 weeks, finishing 2 weeks before the due date. Will i be entitled to maternity benefit again i've been working for the last 10+ years

You seem to imply that you might not. Why exactly do you think that this might be? Do you meet the qualification criteria outlined on www.welfare.ie?

Thanks looks like i'll be fine was just worried as i've been off so long and only going to be back for a short while wasn't sure about my prsi. Not to sure about these things
