Can anyone can give me some advice please.
I was in a relationship with somebody for 5 years and 'He' built a house and i moved in with him. I lived there From August til the following Feb and i ended the relationship because i wasnt happy and basically didnt love him anymore.
I moved out in the Feb.
I bought alot of stuff for the house which added up to roughly 8-10k, ranging from tv (1200 euro),kitchen tables and chair(1500euro),curtains and curtain poles and tie backs for every bedroom(2000 euro) in the house (5 rooms in total),bed clothes for each room, kitchen ware, soft furnishings, xmas tree and decorations (1500 euro) they were prob the most expensive but in total as i say 8-10k. I 'do not' have any receipts as i didnt think we were gonna break up but unfortunatly it happened. When i left I said Id wait til things calm down to have the awkward conversation about getting my things back,but basically he got a new girlfriend, somebody that works with me.. I left it go because i felt all my business would be all over my work place but now i feel its not fair and want to no where i stand. Were both going out with new people now but i really feel it was alot of money and my question is
Am i entitled to anything back??
