Alternatives to tiles for shower

Hi there
We have a shower with nice cream tiles and white grout - at least it was. Now after 8 years I hate it, the grout is constantly going pink or black, the sealant looks grubby and in short even when cleaned, bleached, washing soda, bread soda, cif, shower pen etc, it still looks dirty or if it does look OK will in a couple of days. The question is - what is the alternative? It's 3 sides of tiles and one shower door. is there a big plastic (attractive) cube that can go in instead? I would love to rip it out, or spray fibre glass on it to stop me needing to clean grout ever again...anyway any thoughts?? Any idea of price for any suggestions yo might have? Thanks.

Depends on budget, there are cheap plastic panels you can get fitted that will do the trick. But these do look cheap. If you want to blow the bank altogether you can get single panels for each side and back wall of the enclosure from the likes of B&Q. These look really well, I can't remember the prices, but you're looking at more than 6k for the whole thing!

Thanks Leo, based on what you said I did some searching, I found http://www.wetwall.com and [broken link removed] which look interesting, definitely looking at replacing those tiles, they're driving me bonkers.

I had same as you, white tiles, dreadful grout, 3 walls of shower enclosure. Covered the lot with Grosfillex panels, took 2 panels per wall, stuck straight on to tiles. Cost about 140 max, cant really remember. I was limited in the colour I could use so had to go for the kind of grey marble effect, not the prettiest, bit plastic looking but does the job and looks much neater. There are nicer panels in different colours, not sure if they are dearer. Can easily be done by DIY
