Allenwood / Rathangan Broadband

Hi,

Looking into getting ICE broadband out in the country. I do not seem to find anyone who has any experience with this.

At the moment I have Vodafone USB pod. Quite ridiculous speeds of 2kps.

Any help appreciated.

I've had Ice for the past few years [in Donadea, connecting to transmitter in Maynooth] - service used to be great in the beginning but for the last 12-18 months it's been crap for 95% of the time. I am pretty much on the edge of where they claim to be able to transmit to, but I still pay full rate. On a good day I get 400k on a 3Mb connection .... why am I still with them, well it's their service or back to dial up for me (no 3G signal available for me either) .... & don't get me started on their idea of customer service ...... [ok, rant over]
