Hi,
a couple of friends (mid 30s) have booked flights to Faro, and are now trying to decide in which area to stay in the Algarve.
They are looking for a village which is relaxed and unspoilt and with character, and near the beach, and with nice scenery.
They dont need hectic nightlife - just a few restaurants etc.
From reading previous posts, its seems Villamoura, Alvor and Lagos have got the thumbs up from people, and to steer clear of places like Praia da Rocha.
Can anyone who has been to Villamoura, Alvor and Lagos give some more details on what those villages are like, or recommend a hotel.
Or can anyone recommend any other unspoilt, not too touristy places?
