Medion are a very serious German company and operate only through Aldi. They are a very big player in the German market and the German specialised computer magzine often have reviews of their products (the reviews I saw were all very good).
I do not know about the particular machine, but there is no harm in you trying it. If you don't like for any reason you can always bring it back to Aldi and ask for your money back (I think you have 2 weeks?). I did once take one electronic appliance back and there was absolutely no problem in getting a refund.
