Bank auditor comes to a sleepy town (the kind where if a dog crosses the street it's news). Finds the bank open, cash piled up in open view, none of the staff of four in evidence. Just about to leave and report to head office when he hears a sound. Pushing open the door to a back room, he sees the staff of four (manager, assistant manager, clerk and teller) engaged in a game of poker. Smoke-filled room, eyeshades, tilted-back chairs - every sign of a game that's been going on for days....
Unseen by them and deciding to teach them a lesson, he sets off the alarm. The bell jangles out but the town is as sleepy as ever. Nothing stirs - except for one person........
