I tried to switch my business over to airtricty in may. for some reason it was declined. The only reason I found out was when, NIE, (northern ireland eletric) came out to inspect the meter. After i paid the outstanding bill with NIE I tried to reconnect with airtricty. A rep even happened to call in and i got him to phone and check all was fine.

2 days ago NIE came in and disconnected us on the spot. I was told to phone a number which I did. NIE where helpful and told me that Airticty had not taking over the line and that I would need to get in touch with them. So I did. They said that a "take over on the line" was refused. The guy on the phone amited that they should have got in touch with me. Which they have not.

I have no till running, loss of some stalk, told staff to go home and mainly I cannot get my stutters down to secure the premises. NIE have told me it will be about a week to get connected with them.

So who is at blame here? Would i be capable of getting compensation.

many thanks
