Airtricity confirms energy prices hikes

Airtricity energy customers are facing huge hikes in their bills next month with electricity going up 12.3% and gas a massive 21.2%.

their green energy option was only 14% more expensive than there standard amounts. Does this mean theres now only 1.7% difference or has the cost of getting wind energy also gone up with the price of oil, coal and gas?
