I currently rent out an apartment and complete an annual tax return (I am a paye employee). I am considering moving to using my apartment as an Airbnb apartment. I understand there are differences between the treatment of standard rental income and income derived from running the apartment as an Airbnb. I don't know exactly how the rental calculations differ though. I wanted to run the numbers to see if it is worthwhile to go with the Airbnb model.
