Hi new build here

I am in the process of doing a self build at the moment. There is two fireplaces (one in the living and one in the sitting room).

I hope to install underfloor heating and go with a renewable source for heating.

To keep my options open I would like to provide for having two open fires/stove. However the subfloor is installed and I have not allowed for an underfloor vent to the outside for these fireplaces.

I have installed a radon barries and if the floor has to be chased I worry this might be damaged.

I have 100mm to finished floor level (60mm insulation + 40mm screed), so i was thinking i could just put some iron box pipe on the subfloor along by the wall and pour the screed directly on top (have no insulation to allow for box pipe)

what kind of piping should i use??
Also has anyone got advise on the different screeds available and the pros and cons with these??????
