Air Lingus - another rip off?

Just checked for July Air Lingus flying Dublin to LA. For the same dates they charge Paddy from Dublin $1059 but the charge allow the ould yanks coming over here across for $932 return - exactly the same dates!

Maybe it's to compensate the ould eejits coming over here to be ripped off further while they are here?

Maybe its purely business and that they have sufficient demand to charge "Paddy" 1059 but need to lower the price in order to get "Uncle Sam" on board?
