AIB will be sending out letter this week, according to a rep from the hotline, which will let people know that they are part of the redress and the general details of it. The letter with the cheque will be sent out before the end of August

Although you were told this, others were told it would be 4 to 6 weeks.

So some people might get letters this week, but I would imagine that the majority won't.
