AIB - Why is my 'Cash Lodgement' option unavailable?

Hi, I'm not sure what's happening here. I was making a deposit at the ATM outside the AIB, and when I opted to make a lodgement, the only option available was for cheques. Both cash and cheque-and-cash were blanked out. Anyone know why this is happening? Is it because it's a Saturday and the bank is closed? All help is appreciated.

Possibly a fault with the cash input that needs someone to correct.

Happens with the in-branch machines from time to time, but they can fix it fairly quickly.
