AIB Variable or Fixed?

Hi,

Long time reader first time poster!!

I've a Variable rate mortgage with AIB - LTV Variable <=50% @2.75%. Outstanding balance of €260k with 28yrs remaining.

I've an option to switch to the AIB Green 5yr Fixed rate of 2.45%.

What are people's thoughts?
Would I be crazy locking in for 5 years? Do you think rates could possibly go lower for Fixed rates?

I struggle with this one. Im on 2.95 and been thinking of going for the 3yr fixed. Hard to tell
 
I am in the same boat with the lower LTV. Also wondering if I fix do I go back to the lower LTV after or is it just back on standard variable?
