AIB Regular Saver

I have a regular saver account with AIB that has a promotional rate of ECB + 2.5% for 12 months. The account is coming up to the 12 month anniversary soon.

The AIB say that the interest is paid twice annually in April and October. If I close the account on or around the 12 month date will the bank pay me the interest I am due?

Interest is based on the accrued period.

Ensure you close your account before the rate drops to 1.00% from month 13.
