AIB Mobile - Connection Error

Is anyone else having difficulty connecting to AIB Mobile?

I am constantly getting this message- "Technical difficulties have occurred. Please try later. (Ref: 2FA11).
 
It's working for me... on iPhone... how long have you been getting the message? Have you updated your apps?
 
App only recently installed. I have been getting this message all day yesterday & today.

I also get it quite often at different times.

I am using Android.

I never had trouble before this push authentication.
 
Do you have a tablet? there is a tablet app for iPad or Android... it might ask your mobile for 2nd Factor Authentication (2FA) though....

Maybe try re-setting fingerprint or face recognition... it does say 2FA in the code so maybe that's related...
 
I don't have a tablet.

I have a laptop.

When I try to log on I get the same connection error message.

It authenticates my phone but cannot connect to AIB.
 
Need to ring AIB by the looks of things, sounds like a technical issue on their end... Bank Holiday issues maybe?
 
I phoned AIB this morning.

All in all it was a frustrating experience.

Customer service person talking over me and would not accept that it was a technical problem.

After 43 minutes of fruitless uninstalling and reinstalling App, confirming my WIFI was working, that my phone was the right version, etc., she finally agreed it was a technical problem and lodged a complaint to the IT department.

She assured me that I would receive a telephone call from them today.

I shall not hold my breath!
