Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum. My wife was made redundant just after Xmas. She had loan repayment protection on her loan with AIB. She filled in the necessary forms and they back-dated it to January as you had to wait for 30 days to pass.
Now they have written to her saying that she has to have a form completed by the Social Welfare (no problem there) but also have stated that she has to prove that she has been unable to get work by way of letters or online applications or cold calls.
anyone aware of the intricacies of these policies? Or even had to do this? With most places when you send your CV they arent bothered reply to say "thanks but no thanks".
