AIB Interim Dividend

Just wondering if anyone could help me. I elected with my broker to get dividends in the form of shares rather than cash. I just reviewed my account tonight and I see the AIB interim div paid a few weeks back has been paid to me in cash.

Does anyone know that due to the turbelent market if AIB decided not to pay its dividend in cash. I have googled it etc and have no luck.

I assume you mean did aib decide not to allot shares but paid in cash instead

I do indeed mean that. Woops
