Ive been offered an affordable 2 bed apt in Fairview market price 400,000, we are getting it for 275,000, we are just not sure whether it is a good idea to accept this offer at the moment the way things are, and the fact that prices may go down further. If we were to hold out would we pick up something better. We also have to take in the clawback on the property if we were ever to sell. Any advice

look at daft and see what's out there. there s 3 bed duplex going for €295K northside and it belongs to you and you can do what you want with it.

it's anyones guess really. Is a 2 bed appartment big enough for you in a years time?

Yes I think a 2 bed would be suitable for the next couple of years and I have no plans to move out of Dublin yet..

Depends on the clawback, how much you like the area etc.house prices are going to continue to fall for the next few years so it depends on how bad you want that apartment.Do a lot of research on prices, the location.Do your homework on this.Good luck!
