Hi enquiring about Carrington. Any1 that has viewed would appreciate any answers u mite have? Is it the block that is nearly completed that u get to pick from. Are all the apartments available or only a select number? Did u get to choose from a lot or just a few? Any ideas on moving in times? Does the price go up above the ground floor?

I've also been shopping around for house insurance (contents only as I've bought an apartment) and AIB appear to be the cheapest.

I've spent the day shopping around for house insurance and the cheapest by a mile is 123.ie...Hope this is of some help!

I went to get a quote from a private one and it was 1900 Euro for doing the exat same thing that the council Solicitors do. Not Mentioning that the Concil one are already familiar with the contracts and the builders...

So, I think you picked the right choice.

I checked AIB against 123.ie and found out that 123.ie is cheaper. thanks

No problem....

There were some big difference between companies, sometimes as much as E100!!!

Hi thelad,
I sent my snag in last tuesday there was only five things on it as they told me in the interview to only put structural snags on it. Did you get a 2 bed or a three bed and have you done your snag?

I have got 2 bed

I have not got around doing the snag yet.

How about you, have you go 2 bed or three?

Hi,
I sent my snag in last friday...I had 6 pages of a snag list!!They never said anything about only putting only structural snags on it...I had a look at my list and everything on it seems to do with paint!

Why do fingal make things so confusing?????

yeah there were quiet a few unpainted patches in the two bedrooms... very strange. I'm painting both a different colour anyway so i didn't put it down. I wonder how long before we sign? I'm a very impatient person and like everything done straight away. I want my keys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any news anyone on the snags - I hope they are not waiting on them all to be submitted together - thinking it might be the case if Thelad hasn't even done his yet ?????

I do not think that is the case.....coz when I was speaking to them I got the impression that they are processing the lists they have got and also I went there last week and there was a builder working on those houses.
