I was wondering does anyone know what the situation is with Management Fees for apartments. I have purchased an affordable apartment with the council and I have to pay the money up front for the Managment 1300. I haven't moved in yet. Do you pay less the following year?

Also if I wanted to buy a second property not e.g with the council could I used my own affordable property as equity or am I tied into purchasing only one property for 20 years.?

thanks

Not to be short, but have you not read the contract?

If you purchased using a mortgage from the council you won't be able to remortgage without having to pay the clawback. You also have to live in your affordable home.
