Not AH anyway, if approved and offered a property you will then have to go to eitehr BOI/EBS/IIB to get yor mortgage and unfortunately they will run a credit check.
Not entirely true. If you get an affordable house on the affordable housng scheme and not the initiative you can try and get a mortgage off the council.
