affordable housing on contract?

I want to apply for aforable housing, i earn 26k and am in my job 11 months, im currently on probation but in 4 weeks will be off probation. then i will be on contract for 2 years.... will this stop me been able to apply for afforable housing?

I have a affordable house 5 years now , as i remember the main points they look at is last years earnings and a letter of permanent employement letter from your company

dont worry about it anchorman, i was in a permanent position when i applied for the affordable and since then ive changed jobs and im on a contract. ive just had the offer from the affordable so dont worry bout it

It wont affect your application for AH but it could well affect your ability to secure a mortgage.....especially in the curent climate
