Oh one last thing, I am not 100% on this but I would imagine the section 23 relief would have to be claimed at the end of each tax year so you would get each year in a lump sum.
 
Bad news about the Priorsgate development is that we'd be living on a building site for the next few years. There is a proposal to knock the Bank of Ireland and basically complete Priorsgate with a 4th block. Light in the courtyard would be really comprised and the place will be a mess for a long time. Aldi set for next door.
 
Hi All,

Just found out that Priors Gate affordable housing does not come with the fitted kitchens and we do not get the tile allowances that the private buyers are getting.
 
We were at the show apartment on Saturday and the estate agent said he didn't think they were included so we rang the council this morning and they said they didn't know but said they didn't think they would be included, so we then rang Hooke and MacDonald this morning and they said they were NOT included.
 
That is just stupid how is that an affordable home .Well thats another few thousand we will need

Thats wrong, they do come with fitted kitchens tiling and a space. This was confirmed by SDCC. You might double check your facts before posting.

Rang the council for the second time today and they said to ask the developer as they don't know so I rang the developer for the second time today and they said the affordable homes do NOT come with the fitted kitchens and tile allowance.

i dont no where you heard that it was confirmed by the SDCC i have just been on to them and they said it is nothing to do with them its up to Hooke and Mcdonald to decide so i rang them and they said the affordable homes DO NOT come with the fitted kitchens R tiling allowance.

I think your the one that needs to get your facts straight before posting

These are AHI Properties, not Part V. They do include kitchens and spaces plus tilling. I know for a fact.

They said the car space was included alright but nothing else

Kitchen is included, kitchen tiles and batroom tiles. Its in the literature.

If you all don't trust me call P Elliots and Sons and ask for Sales and say you are buying through SDDC the porerties purchased by the Affordable Homes Partnership.

What literature did you read it in, ive seen it in the priors gate information if you were buying privatley, havnt seen it in anyinformation we have gotten from the council though

Ok Clear up time:-

If private on the Open MArket:- you pay for unit + plus space, + kitchen allowance

If purchasing from the Affordable Homes Partnership through SDCC :- Unit + Space + Kitchens + Tilling all included in the affordable Price.

Contact Elliots to confirm this, HOOKe are employed to sell the Market Units.

Elliots just got back in touch with me and I am happy to say that Drapper is 100% correct the kitchen is included.
