Ive to view and property. What I want to know is, if I like it and put the €3000.00 deposit down to hold the property, and if for some reason the when I go to the lenders and im rejected, can I get my €3000.00 back.

First of all dont panic. The same thing happended to me. I was offered a lovely 2 bed apartment which I loved and I tried to get the mortgage to cover it but did not earn enough unfortunately but I was refunded my €3,000 no problem, so dont worry and I hope you love what was offered to you.
