Anyone know what the chances are of getting an offer of an apartment? I saw it was 1in 6 on another post has this changed?
Also is it a good idea to tick a number of preferences?
I don't see how it's possible to answer that question. DCC operates on a lottery system, so the chances of getting an offer are dependent on the number of entries, which will obviously vary for every property on offer.

It's a good idea to tick a preference for every property that you are actually willing to consider buying and living in (and of course that you can actually afford). The more properties you apply for, the more draws you'll be entered into. No point ticking just for the sake of ticking though.
Incidentally I was in the Affordable Housing offices the other day and they were (finally) taking down the November 2006 newsletter pages - possibly this means another newsletter is imminent?
I received a new newsletter from the DCC last Thursday, it included a good few properties in the Docklands. Looking at the prices though the minimum you need to earn per year is 32K.
