Affordable Housing and Stamp Duty

Hiya,
I have applied for Afford.house in a few CO CO.Today I called Louth Co Co,and I have been told ,as separated person,if any house available,I ll have to pay stamp duty on it.I have heard that separated/divorced should be considered as FTB,so no stamp duty.I used to own the house when I was married,now it is my ex.Anybody experienced similar problems?Thanks

Separatees can be treated as first time buyers
