Affordable hotel Girona Spain

Hi all,

I'm going to Spain in September and with Ryanair we are flying into Girona. Can anybody recommend a hotel which isn't too expensive because we are only staying for 1 night.

I have checked TripAdvisor etc but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

[Perplexed]

I stayed in the Ultonia Hotel in Girona when I was there.
It wasn't posh, but clean & reasonable & walking distance to the train station, where you get the bus to the airport.
It's also very close to the old part of town, the Jewish quarter etc. Girona is really a lovely city. I found it a really pleasant surprise as I was only staying there because of my early morning flight.
I think you can get cheaper hotels close to the airport.
