Anyone else on here having problems with the Aer Lingus site? ( www.aerlingus.com ) For about a week now I keep getting this message when I select a flight and press continue

PLAN --- <em class="stageNavActive"

and the rest of the page has nothing on it.
This has happened for several different choices of destinations and flights. I'm baffled so any help appreciated.

me too!

I was browsing the aerlingus site last week (Thurs & Fri) & got a different error. Was ok again after about half an hour

Re: me too!

There was a problem for a short time last week (possibly due to the special offer) but it's OK now.

Have you tried Ctrl-F5 to ensure you're not getting the erro page from your cache ?

Re: me too!

Could be just overloaded as a result of their current special offers.

Thanks for replys/ suggestions. Unfortunately I'm still having the same problem despite logging on at different times during the day. When / if they respond to my e-mail query I will post again.

What browser (type and version - check the Help -> About menu for this information) are you using? Works fine for me in FireFox 1.0.1 right now. Can't see anything odd with the HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the page in question that might be causing the problem.

Thanks Clubman, I'm using IE version 6. I think I must have inadvertently changed a setting somewhere along the way as some of you guys don't seem to have a problem with aerlingus.com. Their e -mail response isn't exactly enlightening : " If you are experiencing problems booking tickets via the website please contact the aerlingus.com helpdesk where we can assist you further."

Can you try another browser to narrow it down to the Internet Explorer setup?

Yes, I'm going to try that later on. Thanks and I will report back.

Now using firefox and no subsequent problems with the aerlingus.com site. Very impressed with the new browser too
Thanks to all for the replies and to Clubman for the alternative browser suggestion.

Re: Re: Aer Lingus web site

It would still be interesting to find out why IE suddenly "broke" on you. Did you change any settings between when the site worked and when it stopped working?

To the best of my knowledge no. I have been using the aerlingus site with IE for a considerable time and I have never had any major problem so I'm baffled as to why the problem appeared last week.
Aer Lingus aside though I'm sticking with firefox - really like the style of it.
