Aer Lingus - Web check-in - Printer needed?

Hi folks - Do I need a printer to avail of the web check-in facility on Aer Lingus, i.e. does I need to print out a boarding card or equivalent?

Yes, it has a bar code you need to present for scanning at security.

There's a button on the check in screen, something like 'print boarding card at kiosk'
That might defeat the purpose for you though......

U can check in online (without a printer) and as Auntie says, on one of the screens you can opt to print out the boarding pass at the FastPass kiosk. Does mean u have to go to the FastPass kiosk but at least you will have been able to select your seats via the web check in facility earlier in the day so u will have a greater choice of seats...

Thanks folks - Just for future reference, it also gives you the option to safe a pdf file for printing elsewhere.
